3 Wrestlers Qualify for MHSAA State Championships

CP Cheer Wins District Title

The Comstock Park Varsity Competitive Cheer Team overcame injuries and illness to win its fifth consecutive district championship.  Comstock Park finished with 722.66 points, followed by Tri County with 712.68, GR Catholic Central with 707.66 and Coopersville with 653.90.  The Lady Panthers will now advance to Team Regionals which will be held at Rockford HS,

JV Boys Stay Hot In Win Over Coopersville

3 Wrestlers Advance to Regionals

Comstock Park’s John Weldon (140) and Luke Pahl (152), won their respective weight classes. Pahl was seventh at the 2012 State Finals, and Weldon advanced qualified for the third time in four years.  Sophomore Aaron Martin was fourth at 171, entering the tournament as a sixth-seed.  The trio now advance to regionals at Whitehall HS
