Comstock Park opened the 2018 baseball season at home on Friday against Wyoming with a 5-2 victory. The Panthers were led by senior Hunter Spence on the mound as he recorded 10 strikeouts in 5 innings of work picking up the win, he was followed on the mound by Brenden Pelton who finished things up with 2 innings of relief. Connor Brower led the offense with 2 hits, Logan Brower added a RBI single and Nathan Hughes chipped in with a RBI and a double on the day. CP takes on Hopkins on Monday in early season non-league contest.
